A local Detroit Metro company who are the industry and technology leader in the fluid power marketplace are seeking several Design Engineers Skilled in 3D drawing with piping layouts. They are an expert in 10 plus fluid power technologies ranging from Lube Oil Systems, Compressed Air Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Process Systems.
We are seeking candidates who have 5+ years of designing detailed experience of pipe work systems. Who are medium to highly skilled on Solidworks or other similar Parametric Software (ex: Unigraphics, AutoCAD Inventor, Pro E, SDRC Ideas, Catia but strongly prefer experience with Solidworks.
This position will require candidates to design detailed platforms and skid mounted platforms with pump and pipework systems. They need to be very detailed to the fittings, pumps, gauges, welds…etc. Experience with drawing Elevation Views, Plan Views, Isometric Views, Flow Schematics, and P&ID.
This is an immediate hire position! We are seeking Piping Designers and CAD Designers who are local to the Metro Detroit area that have 5+ years of experience with designing pipe work with a strong experience in 3D Parametric Software, preferably Soildworks. The position is 6 plus months of work with a starting hourly rate based on experience from $26-$32/hr. with paid overtime.
