MEP and Plant Software Specialist

Summit Technologies is looking for a knowledgeable Mechanical and/or Electrical(preferably both) building design specialist who is interested in the challenge of representing our AEC. In addition knowledge of Piping and Plant design software would be an asset.  If you are interested and knowledgeable in BIM and capable of using/supporting/teaching Autodesk's Revit and AutoCAD-based line of building and plant design products, this job will be an exciting challenge.
You will be tasked with working with some of the most important engineers and architects as they move into a BIM environment. You will work with our extensive BIM team to implement technology into the offices of these clients. Some of the tasks you will be responsible for include:

• Training of M & E engineering and construction professionals in the use of CAD & Building Information Modeling (BIM) Software
• Helping Design, model, and document process plants with AutoCAD® Plant 3D software
• Working with M & E engineering clients to insure that their modeling is done correctly
• Understanding how drawings can be extracted from the Building Information Model
• Utilizing models in other engineering analysis applications
• Working as a BIM integrator on medium to large project teams
