You're welcome Darryl for the upgrade and thanks again for the suggestions. I worked a little on your 3D / 5D Bends component file and you are welcome to download it by clicking on www.pipedesign.com/3D5DBends_metric.cmp

I'm a senior piping designer with over thirty years also. I 3D model piping systems now but still miss the drafting aprons, brush in the back pocket and eraser shields. Please let me know if I can be of further service.

I need customer support for Pencil 1.0. After I use the device for a while the pointy part gets flatter and the lines I draw get wider. Eventually, the whole system shuts down and I hear screeching noises from the substrate.

In addition, this device seems to be producing a fine, toxic powderish substance that I am sure causes cancer or some other horrendous diseases.

I've asked some of the older guys about this but they showed me some sharp, dangerous-looking steel thingamajings that could put out an eye or be used as impromptu weapons. That's some scary stuff, those old guys must have been like totally unenlightened and barbaric back in the day.

Please throw eraser bags at me now if you know what an eraser bag is.

Sounds like you need a lot of help PG (smiling). Those were barbaric days alright... we had our choice of safety hazards in the old school days... everything from flying eraser strips (either accidentally or intentionally invoked), lead poisoning induced by overzealous revisioning, chemical intoxication from the phosphoric acid in sepia deletion fluids, airway blockage from having to wear a necktie all day, carnivorous shoppers... once I even started a small fire on a linen drawing when some designer accidentally dropped his cigarette on my drawing while we discussed the merits of a steam tracing design.

The company benefits package didn't include recompense for most of what we were subjected to and it hardly seemed worth the effort; however the drawings that were produced were worthy of hanging beside Modigliani's finest portraits (naked women have nothing to do with it) so it was worth it. My suggestion PG, is that you purchase a copy of PiperSuite for yourself and a copy for each of the old pipers that you feel sorry for... they've had to put up with these primitive piping methods for so many years... this will make up for everything (smiling).

Regards,
Bob
