2. How to prepare MTO from P&ID (Suppose we have only P&ID….NO GAD, NO Plan Layout…) How to calculate Pipe Length Fittings.etc

3. If suppose I give you a assignment to you……to get MTO from P&ID without GAD, Plan Layout..so, what thinks you will ask for me

It can only be done by a very experienced piping designer and then only if there is a Plot Plan to go along with the P&IDs

If you say that you have only P&IDs then you can only work out MTO for valves.

You need other information as well so as to work put the MTO at any given time on the project.

That is why you have a Plot Plan. You can then do a routing study or transposition. This can be complimented with some hand drawn Isos to establish a fitting count and supports. The lengths would be taken from the transposition including some basic loops. The valve, instrument and vessel count from the P&ID's.

Hello,
I agree with everyone above. You have to have some type of G.A or Plot Plan. Some other sources depending on the type and location of the work is aerial photos, or even a rought field sketch of the equipment locations.

Also, there are different types of MTO's taken from P&ID's:

Valves (there can be several depending on the size of the project)
Instrumentation
Alloy Piping (need G.A or Plot Plan for this)
