Can anyone give some inputs how flange management is done in process plants or in big plants.Any guidance for developing procedures.

OK, I’m guessing here, but “flange management” to me means operational maintenance. This is where the field guys go out and visually check all flange connections on critical commodities, re-torque the flange bolts, and document that re-torque. AND the only way I can guess on that is because I was involved in generating the document on AutoCAD to cover that action. This is NOT something a “piping designer” gets involved in, plant/field operations YES, but not piping design. ..UNLESS of course you get to generate a document too!!? …But I wouldn’t put it on your resume.
