Don't pocket the kicker line at the pig trap.
Make sure there is enough barrel length for the pig including smart pigs.
Set closure end at vehicle height so that pig can be lifted on to a truck.
May need crane access.
Good turn around area for largest vehicle.
Full Port valves.
Don't forget barred Tees.
Enough flexibility for Stress esp. if it is a large pipeline.

May I know what are the guidelines to place (or locate) underground Condensate collection Tank & Water Bath Heater in Equipment Layout (In that layout, other equipments are - PL/R, KOD, Filter Separators, Pressure Regulating Skid & Metering Skids for 30" Natural Gas Line).
