Spacing between pipes for buttwelding was created by limeyexpat
Currently designing pre-assembled piping modules to be shipped to site where adjacent module pipes are to be buttwelded in field. Does anyone have any idea of pipe spacing requirements to enable a welding rod between pipes for the buttwelds. I would expect that this clearance will be larger than that allowed for any insulation and jacketing.

The answer to this question is one you should get from the actual installation contractor.
One may say; "Give me 6" between all pipes" and another may say; "use normal line spacing because I can jack the pipes up to make the welds."
It is a matter of application and capabilities.
