Engineering Drawings was created by sabir
Is it advisable or possible to make the MTO or BOM from the FEED drawings?
Can any anybody suggest me some useful tips or any websites which could help me to have a through understanding about how to read engineering draws to make the above said items.
Exceptionally the symbols of Elbows, Vales, Wedolets etc etc...

Sabir

Sabir,
Your questions:
1 - Is it advisable or possible to make the MTO or BOM from the FEED drawings?
2 - Can any anybody suggest me some useful tips or any websites which could help me to have a through understanding about how to read engineering draws to make the above said items.
3 - Exceptionally the symbols of Elbows, Vales, Wedolets etc etc...
My answers:
1 - No! I do not believe it is possible or effective to try to do a proper MTO from the documents available during or even at the end of the normal FEED stage of a project. You might be able to factor the costs for a project assuming you have a past project to use as a bench mark. A detailed MTO is not the goal at the end of FEED.
2 - What do you mean by "above said items?"
3 - Do you mean "especially"?

Sorry Mr. Jop, it’s a typing mistake….I’m absolutely sorry about it
Well, “above said items?†means how to read the symbols and notations in an engineering drawings to make a proper MTO, I’m not through with all the symbols and notations used in engineering drawings. So I’m looking for any websites or online documents which could give me an insight into theses aspects.
Its not “Exceptionallyâ€, it’s “especiallyâ€. I made a typing mistake, sorry…
