and in MSS SP - 44, what is this SP stands for. Is it Standard Practice...

"Creep" is defined as the continued plastic flow of a material under constant load(Press/Temp). So should creep continue, in repests to flanged connections, long enough to reduce gasket load below its sealing requirements, leakage, wire drawing, and even blowout will occur.
