The question is by the distance between Welds if we use a elbow 4 degrees the narrow side will be of 4" approx.

I agree with JOP, actually we do this kind of thing all the time here in the oil fields (just not with this big of pipe). The thing you do need to worry about with any fitting trimmed to a small angle is the inside surface radius, where the weld(s) are closest together. You would then need to worry about overlapping heat affected zones, from the attachment welds. But by my calculations, on a 24" 3R Ell. you'd have about 4 3/16" of clearance. I wouldn't start to worry until you got to 3" or less. Good Luck!
