Hi Gents..

My name is Edmer of the Philippines.. I'm new to piping and has trained for it. My problem is I dont know how to calculate for spools. I've had worked for Qatar over the past months but I learned a little. Please help me out here. Give me precise solution for calculating pipe lengths. Or a simple isometric drawing will do with a solution.

Thanks.

Edmer,
I'm new to piping and have trained for it. What do you mean you have trained for it? What kind of training have you had?

My problem is I don't know how to calculate for spools. What do you want to calculate? The number of Isometrics?, the number of Spools? the amount of pipe on the average pipe Spool? What?

I've had worked for Qatar over the past months but I learned a little. What did you do in Qatar?

Give me precise solution for calculating pipe lengths. Does this question tie into the question above "calculate for Spools"?

Or a simple isometric drawing will do with a solution. There is no such thing as a simple isometric drawing to represent "a solution". You need to learn to read all isometrics including Butt-welded, Socket-welded and screwed (threaded) piping.
