Dear all, goodmoring,
I have a question on flange connection.
After deluge valve 8" supplied by vendor with Flat Face flange, can I connect the 8" RF flange with gasket suitable for RF?
Is not a dangerous fluid, I understand that must be avoided on fluid dangerous, what do you think about?

The first thing to check is the material of the Flat Face Flange object.
If it is Forged Steel then you can bolt the Raised Face flange object to the Flat Face flange object with no additional action required and no potential problem.
However:
If it is Cast Iron then you cannot bolt the Raised Face flange object to the Flat Face flange object. You must grind or machine the raised face off the raised face flange so you have two flat face flanges coming together and then use a full face gasket to eliminate potential problem.
