High Point Vent Fitting was created by center
I once used a fitting for a high point vents that consisted of a specialized olet (sw &thrd) and a plug. The plug was threaded on one end for use during Hydro, and then could be flipped over and socket welded into the olet. I can not find (or remember) the name or manufacture of these.

Does any know?

Sorry I have to ask ...HOW do you get a "thread-o-let" to become a "sock-o-let" without reaming or drilling out the threads!!?? ...Are you sure they just didn't seal weld the threaded plug in place?

I'm sure - it was a special type olet that had threads below the lipped area that the socket fit into ( the plug was smaller on the threaded end - then the larger SW end stopped above the threads. It was designed specifically for HPVs
