Is there any rule by which we can determine what rating of Bosset , Flatolet , Sockolet Threadolet, Weldolet, Elbolet, Latrolet,Coupling , Union , Cap, etc. we can take . Normally these are available in 2000# , 3000# , 6000# & 9000#.

Replied by Jop on topic In general all of these
In general all of these items are designed to match (or closely match) the common pipe wall schedules.

If you look at (and read) the catalog for O-Let fittings you will see that they recommend that you order fittings using the:
Header size and schedule X (by) branch size and schedule.

Go here:
www.bonneyforge.com/OletCat.PDF

Read page 7

For the other fittings such as ELLs and TEEs you follow the same thought. If you are using schedule 40 pipe then you would use 3000# fittings, if the pipe is schedule 80 then you would use 6000# fittings, etc.

Does that help?
