Can anyone tell me if the DIN standard -
DIN 1615:1984 - Welded circular unalloyed steel tubes not subject to special requirements
Has been superceeded by an EN standard, and if so what is its new name?
It seems like an old enough standard, and the fact that most of the DIN and BS standards are now falling under the EN standards, I thought there may have been some thing new.
I have trawled the information superhighway interweb thingy looking for it, but to no avail.
If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

To answer my own question ...
It appears to still be valid.

Replied by sakar on topic Is your question regarding DIN 1615:1984 valid ?
It will be easy to answer if you clarify the necessity of using this DIN standard – what is the selected steel (may be St 33?) and pipe application (pressure, structural, etc.) ?
As you know, not always one national standard is replaced by only one equivalent European Standard (EN). The harmonization practice in Bulgaria shows that sometimes one national BDS standard is covered by more than one EN standard, and vice versa – the requirements of one EN standard are included in more than one national BDS standard. The situation seems to be similar with German national DIN standards.
