Good topic for conversation, especially as there are guys out there desperate for work.
As a general rule of thumb, I would NEVER pay any "agency" for information that may or may not led to finding work.
We all know, that agents get paid by hiring companies to find suitable candidates for jobs. This will be in the form of a finders fee or as a percentage of hourly rate, and that's fine, it's how the system works.
If you, as a potential candidate for any job, are asked to pay out money by such a site, my advice is to RUN AWAY!!
www.oil-offshore-marine.com have a FREE Checking System: if you get a job offer that sounds too good to be true, please email them at info[at]oil-offshore-marine.com and they will investigate and check if that job offer is a scam or not, and if the job offer was made by a real, good-faith, company.
Scam Alert! Ult Novo Oil & Gas = FAKE Company
Some Nigerian scammers have built a new website, and used copy/paste and then adapted various information with the sole purpose of defrauding worldwide job seekers.
The fake website is ultnovo.com for this invented company Ult Novo Oil & Gas
Full scam details are listed on www.oil-offshore-marine.com/bewarejobscams.php#7 under U.
Please keep your eyes very sharp, especially if you're (desperately) looking for a job.
We have a free dedicated service as indicated on www.oil-offshore-marine.com/bewarejobscams.php "FREE Checking System]oil-offshore-marine.com and we will investigate and check if that job offer is a scam or not, and if the job offer was made by a real, good-faith, company."
Keep your eyes wide open so that you don't open your wallet!
