I being learning Autoplant for my current company, mostly by selfteaching, but i ended up seeing so many different variations of softwares, i started to wonder is it worth to learn AP and get lots of experience with it, what about Smartplant or Openplant, anyone has a idea of what should be i focusing? and what is a good way to get started?

If your company has Autoplant and you plan on staying at that company then you should learn Autoplant.

If your company has all three, Autoplant, Smartplant and Openplant, then you may want to learn all three. However your department manager might be the one who decides if and when you learn these other systems.

In essence I'm being trained as the Administrator for the tool, as of currently we are trying to implement Autoplant, im already learning it and working with it even if its just the core, but for my own development i always like to learn new tools even at a basic understanding.

Thats why i asked, also because im curious as of the difference between them and what their capabilities are

My advice would be to learn one system well first, rather than a little bit of everything. If you're well versed in one software then the chances are that the others will make more sense and be easier to learn and adapt to. Jumping around too soon may just cause confusion because you haven't yet developed a solid enough basis to make sound comparisons.
