Hanger support from pipe rack was created by chintantank
Hi guys,

I am working on construction of the power plant in western Australia. I have come across an issue and looking for guidance from an expert.

Problem: There is ACW piping (2 X 2") running between two HRSG (pipe run is approx. 8.5 m) at the elevation of 6m above the FGL. I want to support these pipes with hanger support from an existing pipe rack(which is 8.1m bottom of structure from FGL). This is high rated cyclone area (on average 4 to 5 category B cyclones per year). so is it feasible to support the pipe from two HRSG at the end and in between through hangers from pipe rack?

Regards.

chintantank,

You might want to ask yourself a few questions and if you get the right answers then you can proceed.

1. What is in these 2-2" lines and will losing them or having them out of service for a long period of time or during a storm cause any real harm?

2. If I don't support these two lines from the pipe rack how else will I support them?
