Ok i'm having a little problem at work an the people we normally ask are out of the office for the week. If I open autocad 2008 it opens in bently. How do i get it to go back to regular autocad?

I think it's to do with the support files that are loaded at AutoCAD startup. Go into autocad and under tools/options/files/support file search path, remove the bentley support paths. Make a note of the ones you remove because if it doesn't work you can always add them again later.

I recognize that this is an old post but thought I would post the answer in case anyone else is looking for it.

Find your regular Autocad icon on your desktop> right click on it and select properties > in the target window type this

"C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2008\acad.exe" /p "<<Unnamed Profile>>"

make sure to include the quotes in the right places as well as spaces. this will force open the Unnamed profile when ever the icon is clicked. you can substitute any profile that you want if you have a custom one that you would prefer.
