It would be "nice" to see the position title and number of years a contributor has in this profession so when advice is given it can also be weighted by anybody thinking of using it? ...My $0.02

11echo,
You have a good point.
I would suggest that we see if something brief can be added to the profile. That way if you want to check on the training and experience of a contributor you can, otherwise it does not show with each post.

Anton, What do you think?

I'll look into customising the profile to add something like that.

It's a good idea, hopefully it won't be difficult!

All new users are now required to submit their years of experience, and country.
This should help with give a flavour of posters background.

The rest of us can edit our profiles to include this information.

Anton ...Would it be possible to get a persons "years of experience" to show up with all the other info that shows up on the left if each post? Having to run down an individual’s profile seems the long way of getting this info!!? ...And then they may not have posted it, if it was on the side you'd know immediately. ...My $0.02

I'll see what I can do ........

I'll tell ya though .... routing pipe is easy, complex piping details are easy ...... rewriting php scripts without crashing the forum, that's another story!!

Bear with me ... I'll have a little play with it!

Done.

Mind you, a lot of existing posters need to update their info, and that can't be forced.
