I'm sure this is probably WAY too late, but I want to offer a different answer then my colleague Mr JOP. There are "Hamer" line blinds (as pointed out by JOP), these are used to quickly isolate lines, probably for maintenance or service. You can get a pretty good idea of these at this link:

However working in the oil field we have a "Hammer Union" which is basically just a standard union, but with 3 lugs on the collar so you can use a hammer to tighten these up to point that is tighter then what you could by using a wrench. These are shown on the following site:
