hi
Do we need to give slope in Minimum flow lines of feedwater pumps.
To ME ;
as these pipes are for maintaing a minimum flow from pump to feedwater tank which is located at a much higher level than feedwater pump so there is no use of giving slope to pipes.
please share the views
Regards
SG

No, you do not normally need to slope suction lines to pumps.

Why are you asking this question?
Without more information, we (myself included) cannot give a more definitive answer.

Dear skgarg,
If you are talking about the minimum recirculation line of feed water line then there is no need to provide any slope as its not a gravity flow line.
