Currently designing pre-assembled piping modules to be shipped to site where adjacent module pipes are to be buttwelded in field. Does anyone have any idea of pipe spacing requirements to enable a welding rod between pipes for the buttwelds. I would expect that this clearance will be larger than that allowed for any insulation and jacketing.
