Morning!

Can anybody let me know,

1) which of the following valves can not be located vertically and why:

a) control valve with self actuation
b) pilot operated valve
c) control valve with handwheel
d) cylinder/piston operated valve
e) selonoid valve (3 way)

2) why flow element is normally not recommended to be placed in vertical direction.
