    Hi,
    In a Control Station Assembly/ Control Valve Manifolds we try to put the by-pass valve as near to upstream side as possible.
    Somebody told me we do this to avoid stagnant flow in the upstream side. But if this is the case then there will be stagnant flow in the downstream of by pass valve. so it think it is not the right answer.
    So I want to know the correct reason for putting by-pass valve near to upstream.
