    Hi ,
    Why is the control valve in a line one size less than the lie size?Does it have any technical reason behind it or just fr the sake of being econmical?
    2)Generally why are flanges of control valve upto 8″(size may vary acc to spec) of higher rating if the line rating is 150# ?
