how the branch connections are selected ?
i mean if i have a run pipe of diameter say D……..and have a lots of connection from that pipe whose size varies from D to any other diameters (obviously lesser than D).
what would be the selection crieteria whether i will take TEE,OLET(Sockolet,Weldolet,threadolet etc.) ,reducing tee etc.
these things are usually classified in Pipe class manual …..but what is the basic crietria of selecting the particular fitting?
IS there any thumbrule or it is mentioned in some code or standard
