Hi All,

I have a Natural Gas line operating at -100°C. P&ID says it is in cryogenic service.
There is a not in P&ID “Cryogenic Valves should be installed with stem vertical or at max 30° from vertical”
My Question is why P&ID suggested for Stem Vertical.

Also this line is outlet of PSV. And till now I was told that PSV outlet valve should be placed with stem horizontal.
But in this case it will conflict with P&ID note. Pl suggest what should I follow and why?
