I’ve receive a drawing from my supplier that have branch pipe weld onto 90 deg elbow. The elbow size is 12″ and the branch pipe size is 2″ and be welded about 3″ from centerline of the elbow.
Is it this type of branch is allowable or acceptable by piping standard.?
As I know, we can use elbowlet for branching from elbow but we need to weld it at the centerline of the elbow.
