    Here’s the problem:
Subcontractor intended to perform pressure test on Austenitic stainless steel pipe at the site. Unfortunately, this test can’t be done due to the chloride content in supplied potable water is around 135 ppm. The concentration of chloride in water does not meet the client’s specification which has to be less than 30 ppm.

There are several option being considered currently. It is either by adding corrosion inhibitor such as sodium nitrite to the potable water or demineralizing the potable water through osmosis process which can be rather costly.

So, I hope that anyone who read this can provide some suggestions. Your help will be deeply appreciated.
