piping size

    i’m confused with the size of piping it says that for a tee NPS 9x9x7 but the OD and ID are different OD is 11.8 on the Run and ID is 5.380 whereas on the Run OD is 13.8 and ID 7.313 could any one explain me this in detail…..thanks in advance

    Can you clarify exactly what you are describing?

    Are you dealing with inch or mm? (Either way, these are not standard, or off-the-shelf sizes)
    What schedule is it?
    What codes are you using? ASME / EN / JIS etc

    I have never had occasion to use a 9x9x9 reducing tee.
    but …
    The OD for a 9″ pipe is 9.625″; 7″ pipe is 7.625″
    The ID is dependent on the wall thickness (Schedule).

    i was confused the dimensions i mentioned was for reinforcement thickness…..
