Hi all,
With the ever increasing popularity of LinkedIn, I’ve noticed that many Pipers list “Principle” Piping Designer in their job title.
I always thought it was supposed to be “Principal” Piping Designer, so I looked on the many company websites for the word “Principle” in the job description. You know what? It’s not there. But it does have the word “Principal” Piping Designer however. Then I went to the dictionary to find their respective meanings. “Principal” it is.
Finally, I looked at Pipingdesigners.com website on their Piping Designer Descriptions Chart. Yep, it too has a “Principal” Piping Designer category.
Me? I think I’ll stay with a safe one; is it “Senior” or “Sr.” Piping Designer? Just kidding.
If you ask me, correctly spelling a job title is pretty important, especially when the company’s website lists the job description as “Principal” Piping Designer.
