cadfusionThe conversion from AutoPLANT/REBIS/Bentley to AVEVA PDMS is not horrible but brings with its own set of chalanges. PDMS is not a AutoCAD or Microstation based product. It has its own modeling engine, draft engine and isometric engine all within its self. After using REBIS, Plant-4D, Pro-Pipe, and PDMS…PDMS is a far superior product for alot of reasons. It is 100% solid modeling not wireframe. It is 100% multi-user without “referecing” other drawings in just to see what is in the area. You spend more time modeling and less time “drafting”. I can go on and on. Let me know if you want to know more about PDMS.
