Hey Guys,
I’m looking for some opinions. I’m really struggling career wise as a piping designer with motivation. It’s starting to feel repetitive after 13 years and I get bored really easily when I’m not feeling challenged or learning. Right now I’m working on Refinery maintence and capital projects. I like the field work but hate the 3D piping design because its generally all the same. I’m considering a side step into the construction end (into construction management or something). Any ideas/suggestions on courses or career directions I could take to help me make this change. I don’t want out of oil and gas….just a side step.
