I am looking to use hammer unions on a 5K HP Mud relief system, and am looking for advice on which material i should specify. The piping class i am working from specifies AISI 413O, but i may also use ASTM A350-LF2(modified to 52K yield strength), or ASTM A694 – GR-F52 as a further alternative. I realise i can use any of these materials, but can anyone tell me why I would chose one over the other?
Thanks in advance
Paul
