I am dealing with pig launcher facility after the metering skid for 28″ pipeline.
There are multiple pig launchers & we wanting to locate our pig Launchers in such a way that end closure (barrel sides) to face away from the plant facility. For this we are intending to have 2 90 deg 5D bends immediately after the pig launcher.
Do you think this is a problem from pig movement point of view?
Can we have a launcher arrangement in such a way that we can launch multiple pigs to multiple pipelines…that means one launcher multiple piggabele lines? I am not sure is this possible or not but just asking as I am not getting enough information by googling.
I am new for pipeline engineering so these questions. Pls help
