    Hii,
I’ve found out the thickness in a thickness monitoring report of a SS pipe (2″ Sch. 40S) to be 5.4mm while the thickness of the 2″ Sch 40S pipe in ASME b36.19 is 3.91mm. So is this possible that the pipe swells up and thickness of the pipe becomes greater than as stated in B36.19 or there is a flaw in Thickness Monitoring Report??
The service of pipe is Sulphuric acid. Pressure would be the head of tank (i.e max. height of fluid in tank) as the line is at the bottom of tank and temp. is atm.
