Dear All,
1) We are in the process of doing stress analysis for 6 inch oil lines (A 106 Gr. B, T=300degC, P=18 bar, 100 Insulation thk.) which will be tapped off from the existing 24inch pipeline.
I requested to client to submit the existing 24 inch pipeline stress analysis report.
What are all the things, i need to consider before doing stress analysis of 6 inch line with respect to 24 inch pipeline?
2) In most of the onshore piping analysis, if operating condition (W + T1 + P1) gets passed, wind & Seismic analysis (W + T1 + P1 + WIN1, W + T1 + P1 + U1) is also getting passed.
So, kindly tell me the effect of wind and seismic in piping stress analysis?
And what we have to do in analysis (CAESAR II) to give flexibility with respect to wind & seismic?
Kindly advise.
Thanks,
Kannapiran.K
