After all the comments we’ve received about the lack of formal process piping training courses available.
I have now learnt that there is a company in Ireland, developing one entitled “The Principles of Process Piping Design”.
This course will be aimed at trainee/junior designers.
Essentially it will involve a number of very experienced – grey haired – people from the industry (process engineers and piping designers).
They are discussing the course with FAS and expect to have their support/funding which will make it very cost effective.
It is expected that the course will be delivered over 4 full days – spread out over a few weeks.
Before formalising exact details and to help them meet our needs, they have asked if they can get feedback on the following issues:
Are you interested?
Do you have a preferred location for delivery of the course?
What is preferred option wrt times: complete days/ half days / which day of week?
Topics of particular interest
Any other comments.
If you have any feedback or comments that you would like me to pass along, email me on info@pipingdesigners.com/wp/
All feedback will be treated confidentially.
