I have been browsing through job ads here and there, but mostly here, and what I’ve been seeing is that there seems to be a requirement for either PDS or PDMS (and sometimes others) 3d software knowledge as a basic requirement.
I’m quite secure in my current position, and have 20+ years of piping experience behind me.
If I decide to change job in the near future, I’m gonna have to do one of these courses, right??
Seems the drafting board and pen are now simply relics consigned to the past …. sad but ultimatly true I guess.
Any one else have opinions on this?
