Hi all,

Pls would somebdy would let me know ASME b31.3 criteria for having a two or more braches from a same location of the pipe.

Wonder if this is not going to make pipe less durable in terms of bearing the design pressure? Should the branches be repadded?

Scenario is:

Pipe size – 3 in SCH 40
design presuure – 5618 kPa
Temp – High 253 deg C ### Low 14 deg C

Two branches of size 50 and 25 are being take out from same point.
