I’m a newcomer of this Forum and I take at once this opportunity to ask some questions as regards piping: 1) In flanged connection with a side in carbon steel and the other one in stainless steel, can the gasket between two flanges remain spirotallic or it’s better to choose a gasket of a different material to avoid problems attached to the parastic stream?
2) On the pipe branch to pass from carbon steel to stainless steel or galvanized steel, wil the branch be of the same material of the main pipe with pipe nozzles+flange+gasket+counterflange in the new material?
3) Can typical assemblies, clarifying these doubts, be found on line?
Many thanks for your helps.
