Hi Pipers
sometimes we have the option of using the reducing tee but we prefer the tee with reducer .
I have seen this case In IP steam piping where the main pipe of size 600mm gets divided into two 450mm pipes near IP turbine. We use the 600X600 tee and then two reducers of size 600X450….Why that so?
what could be the reason of opting for the tee with reducer rather than choosing reducing tee????
Any view experiences …..Please share
Regards
SG
