4 Month Contract +

Successful candidates will become members of an office based PDS design team reporting directly to the Piping and Layout Lead Engineer. This may include supervising and co-ordinating work between offices in the UK and India so previous offshore workshare experience would be an advantage.
• Independent layout of process plant and pressurised process piping design using PDS 3D plant design tool.
• Interpretation of complex 3D site survey information and accurate translation of the captured data into the PDS 3D model.
• Liaison and day to day co-ordination of piping and layout drawing office work executed in the UK or India.

Qualifications
Relevant HND or HNC (minimum)

Experience
Minimum 10 years relevant design experience in the European gas pipeline, onshore gas processing or petrochemical industry, including 5 years as a Senior Designer.

Skills
Broad expertise in process plant layout, pressurised pipework design, fabrication and erection, health, safety and environmental issues with some site experience. Good understanding of the relevant national and international standards, design codes and legislation applicable to process plant piping design particularly with respect to plant facilities in the UK and Northern Europe.
