What sort of things should we be looking for in a 30% PDMS model review?

I am surprised you have not gotten any reply’s to your question in the past six hours.
I will start the conversation with the following overview.

Definition of Percentage Completion
The following is a definition of each percentage complete stage of the project 3D design model review. Each individual company should be flexible but may make 3D model reviews at appropriately 15, 30, 60, 90 and 100% completion.
Definitions

15% Plant Layout (may be from 10% to 15%)
• Plot Plan
• Battery limits located
• All major equipment (primitives) located
• Major structure shown
• Major pipe rack shown
30% Review – Dressed Vessel/Pipe Rack (25% to 35%
• Comments from Client Plant Layout model review incorporated
• All vertical and horizontal vessels are fully piped with all nozzles, platforms, ladders, piping along with their required pipe supports and guides
• Large bore critical process lines studies on the 3D model
• Piping Rack studies 15 – 20% complete
• All large bore process lines and utility mains shown
• Location of unit access ways for mobile maintenance and fire fighting equipment shown
• Comments from Client for operation and maintenance incorporated
• All ladders, stairs and platforms shown
60% Review – Major Equipment Design (55% to 65%)
• Comments from Client 30% 3D Dressed Vessel/Pipe Rack Model Review incorporated
• Ready for Client’s comments for operation and maintenance
• All pumps located and piped
• All exchangers located and piped
• All heaters located and piped
• Piping studies 70% completed
• In-line instruments shown for lines installed
• Instruments on equipment located. Local panels shown
• Main cable trays installed
90% Review – Detail Design Completion (85% to 90%)
• Comments from Client 60% Major Equipment Design Review incorporated
• All piping shown and 100% complete
• All secondary pipe supports (base supports, Spring Hangers, etc.) shown
• Safety showers, eye baths, fire blanket stations and other safety equipment shown
• Instrumentation and Electrical, including cable trays 100% complete
100% Review – Deliverables Completion
• Client’s final comments from 90% 3D Detail Design Completion Model Review incorporated
3D model updated to latest issue of all project deliverables including: P&IDs, UFD’s, line tables, piping plan drawings, piping isometrics and electrical design drawings
