Interesting topic – I think the best resume is one that your head hunter (recruiter) can understand. I have adapted / formatted a simple bullet type, but I still have to walk each recruiter thru the resume.. but perhaps Anton could survey the job posters on this site to better address this point…
    mine goes as such:
    Name, address, phone#, E-mail
    SENIOR / LEAD PIPING DESIGNER
    â–  Career Profile – quick 2 liner
Well organized and motivated piping designer with a demonstrated ability to work and lead in high stress environment, having 45+ years track record of successfully meeting projects standards and deadlines.
â–  Core Knowledge and Functional Skill Areas – 6 or 7 bullets
â–  Objective – what are you looking for?
â–  Professional Background (one liner work history)
    â–  Key Performance Highlights
    â–  Notable Achievements
    â–  Technical Support
    â–  Safety Standardization:
    â–  Education & Qualifications
    â–  Safety Training and Certifications
â–  Personal Work Related Equipment / Software
    â–  Personal Information

    any feedback???
