I was told that when there are more than 8 units of air cooler, thrust blocks are used to transfer lateral movement of individual units to compensate header movement.These blocks are placed in between units. But I haven’t seen such an arrangement of thrust blocks.

What about condensate return header..? It should be free draining towards collecting vessel.

Do we need to consider flange dimensions (for large bore pipe), even if we dont have a flanged connection in a pipe line, while deciding the pipe to pipe spacing.

Thank you for the reply Jop, can u clarify more about
Vessel dressing plan (Horizontal before erecting or Vertical after erecting).
Also who is the final authority for deciding Tray spacing Mechanical dept or vendor.
