[color=#0000FF]Dear Mr. Sachin,
I don’t think we have any standard size SS pipe available with SCH 60S
So far I have seen 5S, 10S, 40S, 80S, 160S etc.Could you please give more information on your requirement? Where exactly you use this.
Thank you,

One more clarification…
We have four different Line CLASS….
So i think we should make separate Piping Specifications for each CLASS…I’m i right…???Thank you,

I have couple of questions more…
Can u just tell me the normal distance that we keep between these items (roughly?)
Is any of the details related to the design of this system is mentioned some where in ASME B 31.3…? or any other standards….
Thank you,

October 16, 2007 at 9:00 am #1492sabirParticipantIts like, our client has different class of lines and had given some documents which describes about the CLASS. The Engineering and Design Team has made a Piping Specification out of these documents. So I’m confused whether the Piping Specification is made out of this or is it an independent entity to be designed before the CLASS specification. And now our client want us to verify the Piping Specification as well as we are ought to create the Line list….what are the parameters to be included in the Line List. Hope u understand my question.
Thank you,

August 9, 2007 at 11:36 am #1290sabirParticipantThanks Mr. Jop
I got the MAR…its Material Approval Request
Thanks for giving info on MTO & BOM and Line list
I’m confused on the Bulk Material. What exactly is this Bulk Material? What all things come under this category?
MTO for Pipes and Accessories & MTO for Valves will cover all the items like Pipe, Fittings, Valves, Nuts & bolts, Gaskets etc etc.

March 21, 2007 at 10:41 am #1120sabirParticipantSorry Mr. Jop, it’s a typing mistake….I’m absolutely sorry about it
Well, “above said items?†means how to read the symbols and notations in an engineering drawings to make a proper MTO, I’m not through with all the symbols and notations used in engineering drawings. So I’m looking for any websites or online documents which could give me an insight into theses aspects.
Its not “Exceptionallyâ€, it’s “especiallyâ€. I made a typing mistake, sorry…

Sabir
