QUALIFICATIONS:

Ø Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree (3 or 4 year program)

Ø 2-5 years industrial experience in product development or PVF application engineering

Ø 2-5 years of AutoCAD experience

or

Ø Civil or Mechanical Engineering Community College diploma (3 or 4 year program)

Ø 4-6 years industrial experience in product development or PVF application engineering

Ø 4-6 years of AutoCAD experience

and

Ø Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

Ø Self motivated and self directed

Ø Computer proficiency (MS Office)

Ø Ability to demonstrate task management and timeline control

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Provide product application engineering recommendations, and product advice to customers, sales staff, and distributors.

Ø Create both preliminary and final drawings of custom assemblies to meet customer specifications, and material requirements.

Ø Assist with site supervision at project installations.

Ø Provide product assistance to the Pipe Production, Fittings Assembly, and QA departments.

Ø Some participation in industry associations and standards bodies such as CSA and ASTM.

Ø Attend trade shows, conferences, and seminars.
