Pad / Stub-in & out connections

Pad / Stub-in & out connections was created by Sachin
A 10†pipe branch is taken from 12†pipe header .
Service : Cooling water
Pipe MOC : Galv CS A53 FBW/ A53 B/ API 5LB ( Galv is for small bore viz. upto 2†only )
Corrosion Alwc : 0.125â€
T & Pr : -20 F to 366 F @ 150 psig
Piping Specification requires stub - in connection for 12†x 10†.
Caeser II software requires Pad .
PDS software shows RWELD without Pad .
Pl. give the correct procedure & share info regarding pad requirement for Stub - in / out connections .

Replied by Jop on topic I would make a reinforcing
I would make a reinforcing pad out of the 12" pipe material and a minimum of 5" wide.
